Other than elections, there are 5 'no alcohol days'. Even if you are not a drinker, this is annoying since girls bars etc are shut. Get some beers in advance and book a girl from TF! The days move around based on the lunar cycle. In 2025 Makha Bucha Day is 12 Feb, Visakha Bucha Day is 12 May, Asahna Bucha Day is 10 July, Khao Phansa (start Buddhist lent) is 11 July, and Awk Phansa (end Buddhist lent) is 7 October.And note Songkran in 2025 is 13-15 April, but in Pattaya more like 10th to 18th!
